Newberry, MI to Sault Area Middle School in Sault Ste Marie, MI
Not so bad and then not so good. I slept well inside last night and stayed plenty warm. Camp was filled with less anxiety. Our day was predicted to be shorter and it was by mileage, but the rain caused for a different level of difficulty. Somewhere around 55km into the ride for me was when the rain hit. It came in slow and gentle which allowed myself and William time to prepare. I had actually thought last night about bringing my rain jacket but figured the day would be so short it wouldn't matter, and I didn't expect it to rain anyways. Turns out William and I both got cold and wet. I was still feeling drained of energy today. He pulled me from 55km to 76km and then a little after. I slugged my way into camp through the rain.
The school has awesome adjustable temperature showers and William has a wonderful air mattress for napping. My Aunt and Uncle from my Mom's side visited and I talked for a bit, but that nap called my name. I was able to see them more later that evening as they stuck around and will be through tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow is a big day in terms of distance and also the border crossing. Rain and even thunderstorms are in the forecast, please keep all of us riders in your prayers.

Sleeping arrangements for tonight.
Quite a near cafe, the Superior Cafe. It's like a cafe, bar, and store all in one.
I greatly appreciate the bathroom design.
