Lake Louise, AB to Canmore Collegiate High School in Canmore, Ab

I got cold last night under the gear truck but was spared from mosquitos. It was hard getting up but I laid things out well so it went smoothly. My breakfast nutrition was complete after eating my colourful vitamins and minerals, aka. fruit loops!
With a net downhill of 200m, the ride was quite pleasant. We're finally off of the TransCanada and onto more back roads as well as a bike path! It's relaxing to no longer worry about vehicles passing my shoulder within a metre of distance at over 100km/hr. I sat up and took 40k to go no hands and enjoy the scenrenity.
William and I took two major breaks. The first being in Banff and the second in Canmore. In Banff we stopped at Second Cup Coffee Co. for cold drinks. The historic looking town center masked the elaborate mall system behind. We rested in cushy chairs for the break there. In Canmore we also had quite comfy chairs! The Famous Chinese Restaurant run by onlu a young Asian woman and a mid aged chef lived up to its name. William and I enjoyed a meal of lemon chicken, BBQ chicken, generals chicken, stirfry, and fried rice accompanied by a Chinese beer, the Tsingtao. I'll definitely go again if I'm coming neat Canmore and I recommend it to you all!
Our stay tonight is at a very nice school. We're sleeping inside for protection from bears and the janitors are incredibly friendly. A mount for my bicycle rear rack snapped two days ago and the janitor was excited to open up the mechanic shop to see about fabricatinh a fix.
Our dinner of spaghetti was served hot and with plenty of toppings like meat balls, shredded steak, bacon and parmesan cheese. The tour is keeping our food simple in general but the cooks sure do a good job!
Caleb and I got around to buying a full skateboard today. After riding through a skate park in Banff, abike park in Banff, and having a skatepark right across the parkinglot at the school tonight, I was convinced we had to buy one. We split the Canadian price of $120 50/50 and we'll see who keeps the board at the end of the tour.
Looking forward to the rest of the weekend, washing out extra clothing and my sheet sack (goes into my sleeping bag) as well.
